The stay was great. There is restaurant The Brigantine at the premises.
-
all you need for wedding in coronado. excellent service from the housekeeping staff. pool was great.
-
Perfect location 1 block from beach, across from del coronado, food court in middle of hotel, we had a great time shopping, great food walking distances would stay here again
-
This location was absolutely perfect for visiting with our son at the Naval Base. And we were a 5- 10 minute walk to any shoppping or eatery we desired.
It would be nice to just get a pass from the hotel for the parking lot on the days when you needed it.
-
Excellent location, close to the beach , near restuarants and shopping. Hotel was quiet, clean and relaxing and had a certain charm to it. Staff was accomodating and friendly when wanting to change rooms at check in. Room was perfect size and bright easily accessible.
-
Most everything. Staff was amazing, food was always right next door, and the beach was a short walk away, along with many other shops.
The plumbing needs to be updated, shower would go back and forth in temperature. The room we had was in a hall right next to a restaurant and we could hear everything through our door, but we heard the staff talking about how they were going to fix that.
-
We like the quaintness of ElCordova and the location is great.
The steps up to our room were very steep.
-
Only the location and bed
The shower was awful because it kept turning hot and cold, there looked like there was a leak by the sink, the restroom was too small and the closet was bigger for some reason, the staff was not very friendly, you could hear the guests walking up the stairs and the people downstairs were very loud.
-
Location to shops/bikeways
Sofa is way to old! Got ill after eating in the restaurant. There was a very loud group in the room below us - had to be moved elsewhere due to complaints.
-
Very relaxing and convenient location.
I was unable to use internet and the phone had alot of static.
-
I liked the location of the hotel-close to everything. I liked being close to the beach and restaurants! I liked the old world charm. It has a very warm and friendly feel. The staff were friendly and responsive!
The parking garage was a little far away, however, I am glad there was a nice parking garage in walking distance!

It's a small hotel and I loved the suite we stayed in- the rooms are not generic but have some character. I loved the pool and spa area. The staff is friendly. At first we booked a deluxe standard room but we moved to a 1 bedroom suite because the deluxe standard only has 1 bed and my son kicks me in his sleep. The hotel gave me a very reasonable rate for the 1 bedroom suite when I explained the situation.
It could use a little bit of upkeep/ remodeling.
-
Loved the location, BBQ grills available for use and extremely clean, shops & dining close by, proximity to beach, quaint one bedroom suite was delightful, fully equipped (except for dishwasher), cute and functionable kitchen with dining, decorated and furnished nicely, nice flat screen TV's, large closets and loads of storage. Loved the atmosphere and the courtyard, which was clean and cozy.
Lack of dishwasher in the one bedroom suite but it was not a real problem, no AC in main living area, but it was not too uncomfortable, no fan/vent in bathroom, would have preferred two bathrooms. Some type of continental breakfast would have been nice, only served coffee and water....hot cocoa perhaps would have been a nice addition for those of us who do drink coffee.

The location is excellen, the minikittchen is also good especially for families

The spanish architecture, large open rooms, convenience to the beach and orange ave; a charming, lovely hotel.
Please please please remove the carpets from the rooms!!! Your rooms with natureal floors are so much more beatiful. I changed rooms because the carpet (#51) was horrid - stains and moldy smelling - my new rooms with hard wood floors was great. I also really like the outdoor barbeque/patio area is a nice improvement. I'm ambivalent however about Miguels taking over so much of the hotel. It brings alot of strangers into an otherwise quiet and and intimate /private area.
